3. The company handles the job

   They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.

What we are and aren't

Waterloo Basement Waterproofing is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.

Iowa requires contractors who earn $2,000 or more a year from construction work to register with the Iowa Division of Labor, and contractors based outside Iowa must also file a bond. Look up the company in the state's registered contractor search, get the scope and price in writing, and ask whether the Waterloo Building Department or your own city needs a permit for any plumbing, electrical or structural part of the job.
